Artemis was formed by a group of women who felt that there must be a better way to move Colorado Springs forward. We believed that there was no faster or more effective way than by building a network of talented women from many backgrounds, fields and interests.
We do not have an agenda. Nor any preconceived opinions. We do not want to create issues but want to react to them in an informed, positive way.
Our goal is to have a minimum of 10 events a year, covering a diverse list of topics…from the arts, to politics, to strategic planning. Additionally, the Directors review numerous requests throughout the year to submit valuable (NON-SALES RELATED) information to our membership in order to provide a more detailed view of what is happening throughout our community.
Committees help Artemis Women operate in an organized and efficient way. We invite members to become involved with one of our vibrant committees, and to lend their talents and expertise to the facilitation of this group. The various committee opportunities include Membership, Marketing, Programs, Finance, Nominating and our newest… Inter generational Gen-A (GENERATION ALL).
We need the strengths of all our members to help run Artemis!
We are a work in progress and because we have no formal structure, consider ourselves a hands-on organization, where anyone can make a difference.
